That on October 19, 2025, at approximately 0038 hours, Trooper D. S., Minnesota State Patrol, observed a vehicle (MN Lic.#RAR039, 2025 Chevrolet Trailblazer) traveling at a visually high rate of speed on I94 in the City of Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. Trp. D. S. Used his radar speed measuring device and confirmed the vehicles speed to be 86 m.p.h. In the posted 60 m.p.h. Zone. The vehicle was stopped, and the driver, Defendant herein, identified as Lauren Verneda Hart, [DOB REDACTED]. Trp.
D. S. Observed an alcoholic beverage in the backseat where he saw Defendant reach as he was stopping the vehicle and Defendant admitted having consumed several drinks earlier in the evening. Defendant showed multiple clues of impairment in all Standardized Field Sobriety Tests (SFST’s) and provided a breath sample for the preliminary breath test (PBT) which showed her alcohol level to be 0.130 Defendant was placed under arrest and read the Minnesota Breath Test Advisory and attempted to provide a breath sample but claimed she couldn’t because of a health issue.
A warrant was then obtained for her blood/urine and at 0242 hours, Defendant provided a voluntary, evidentiary urine sample pursuant to the warrant and for which later testing by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension showed her alcohol level to be 0.126.
