On November 18, 2025, Moorhead Police Department Officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle theft. The victim [NAME REDACTED] at 1119 19th St. S. In Moorhead, located in Clay County, MN. The victim [NAME REDACTED] had loaned his vehicle to an individual named ALEXIS MARIE AMBUEHL [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter the Defendant. The Defendant stated that he loaned the vehicle to the Defendant on November 4, 2025, so the Defendant could move out of her Moorhead apartment. Since that time, the Defendant had communicated with the victim over Snapchat frequently about the return of the vehicle.
As of November 16, 2025, the Defendant stopped making contact with the victim. The victim further reported that as of November 18, 2025, the vehicle has not yet been returned. The victim [NAME REDACTED] in the month of November, he was contacted about the vehicle being involved in an incident of fleeing from police officers while the Defendant was in possession of the vehicle. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn. Stat. 609.49., intentional failure to appear for duly scheduled court appearances may result in additional criminal charges, and in addition to any arrest warrant that may otherwise be issued by the Court.
