On December 14, 2025, at approximately 0531 hours, Crystal Police Officers were dispatched to a fire alarm call at the Heathers Estate Apartments, a senior living apartment complex, located at [ADDRESS REDACTED] North, Crystal, Hennepin County. No fire was observed. Residents of the apartment did observe a male with long hair in a white shirt running through the hallway. Officers located the male who was identified as BRANDON ALLEN WICKMAN, Defendant herein. The Defendant stated that he pulled the fire alarm on the third floor because he wanted to make sure everyone was safe.
The Defendant further stated that he was anxious while he was organizing books and doing puzzles in the library area in the building. He then grabbed the "pull station" because "Satan, Lucifer" told him to. The Defendant then stated Muppets gave him brochures. Officers observed several signs of the Defendant being under the influence of methamphetamine. Officers learned the Defendant had an active warrant. Officers observed in the library on the third floor a large amount of items scattered including hand sanitizer wipes, lotion bottles, dishwasher pods, Folgers coffee, Hennepin County Medical Center discharge paperwork for the Defendant, a key fob for a Mercedes, clothing, and a fanny pack with several miscellaneous keys inside.
The Defendant was trespassed from the property and it was explained to him that he could not return to the apartment building.
