On February 24, 2026, at approximately 8:39 A.M., Saint Paul Officers responded to the 1400 block of 7th Street on a domestic assault report.

The suspect-MESIDOR-was gone on police arrival. Officer Morales arrived and spoke with MSP, who said her ex-boyfriend-MESIDOR-arrived at her residence in the morning. Her three-year-old son unlocked the door and allowed MESIDOR inside. MSP was lying on her bed in her bedroom while her three-year-old and five-year-old children got ready to go to daycare. Her nine-month-old twins that she shares in common with MESIDOR were in the bedroom at the time. MSP said she and MESIDOR share four children in common.

MESIDOR took her a sandwich and wanted her to eat it. MSP said she did not ask for a sandwich and did not want it. MESIDOR became upset and yelled at her. She and MESIDOR have been separated for two years, but he continues to try to convince her to agree to be in a relationship with him. MESIDOR talked about not being appreciated and called her a bitch. When she tried to confront him, MESIDOR punched her in the right eye. She started to cry. MESIDOR walked to the kitchen. She heard a kitchen drawer open.

MESIDOR walked back into her bedroom with the kitchen knife, held the knife toward her, and repeatedly said, “Shut the fuck up!” MESIDOR walked away, and went to the bathroom to help the two oldest children get ready for daycare. MSP said she felt worthless and scared. She wanted to call police but MESIDOR has a history of taking her phone and breaking it, so she hid her phone. She called police after MESIDOR left. MSP had minor swelling to the upper area of her right eye, and the eye was bloodshot.

During blueprint questions, MSP said she does think MESIDOR will seriously injure or kill her or her children. She said that due to today’s incident involving a knife, she believes it could happen.
