On or about November 9, 2025, Minneapolis police were dispatched to a domestic assault at 2300 15th Avenue South within the city of Minneapolis, Hennepin County. Upon arrival the suspect was gone; however, the adult female Victim stated DARRELL GENE WEYAUS JR [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter "Defendant," her boyfriend, punched her in the face with a closed fist. Officers observed Victim [NAME REDACTED], and she asked for medical help. During a medical evaluation at the hospital Victim described: "I was for sure pushed into the wall and that's where I hit my head.

He punched me in the face then I got pushed into the bathroom wall, I crouched down and then everything stopped and he left." Medical noted that Victim's nose appeared crooked. A later CT scan showed Victim's nose was fractured. Defendant's whereabouts are unknown. Based on the seriousness of this case and the possible penalties attached, a warrant is requested to address bail and conditions necessary to protect the public safety and ensure Defendant's reappearance.
