Bradley John Pierce

On April 4, 2026, at about 10:26pm, Maple Grove Police responded to a shoplifting in progress at Walmart, located at [ADDRESS REDACTED] N in Maple Grove, Hennepin County. Loss Prevention reported that a male, later identified as BRADLEY JOHN PIERCE [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein, had selected a large Sony sound system, a vacuum, and a Coca Cola, and attempted to walk out the Grocery side exit when he was stopped by a receipt-checker at the door. He turned around and went back through a store entrance that was blocked off with stanchions.

He pushed the cart under and ducked under the stanchions and then passed the last point of sale without attempting to pay for the items. Loss Prevention confronted Defendant in that vestibule, and he abandoned the merchandise and quickly went towards his vehicle. Officers apprehended him while he was leaving the parking lot in his vehicle. The total value of merchandise stolen was $563.98. Defendant has a prior Felony Theft conviction from 01/27/2025 in Court File No. 27-CR-21-14854. Defendant is currently in custody at Hennepin County Jail.
