James Lee Thorn

On October 1, 2025, officers were dispatched to Richfield Towers in Richfield, Hennepin County, Minnesota in regard to a domestic assault. Officers arrived and spoke to the victim, who indicated that her ex-boyfriend, JAMES LEE THORN, the Defendant, arrived at her apartment that night uninvited. He barged into the apartment without consent and was told to leave but refused to. When she told him to leave, he threw her to the ground, causing her to have a cut on her arm, which officers observed. The Defendant then began to strangle her, held her down, and threatened to rape her.

She was able to flee her apartment to the safety of another resident. When she returned to her apartment, her phone was gone, and she believed Defendant had taken it.
