Justice Raevion Barber

On March 10, 2026, at approximately 5:38 P.M., Saint Paul Officers were dispatched to an apartment building on the 1600 block of Galtier Street, Saint Paul, County of Ramsey on an assault to a victim [NAME REDACTED]. Officer Mihigo arrived and met SRK who said her door was kicked in by JUSTICE RAEVION BARBER, [DOB REDACTED]. SRK was assaulted by BARBER and other people. SRK said she was inside her apartment with her family when BARBER buzzed the apartment’s front door for entry. BARBER asked SRK to let her in, but she refused because she was having a meal with her family.

SRK continued to buzz for entry. A short time later, BARBER got inside the apartment building, went to her door, and began pounding on it. SRK opened the door and asked BARBER to leave her alone and told her she did not want to fight. SRK locked her door and went back to her bedroom. A short time later, BARBER returned to her apartment with two friends. BARBER kicked her door in. SRK went to the door and asked BARBER to stop. BARBER grabbed her hair and they physically fought. During the fight, BARBER’s two other friends joined and assault assaulted SRK. SRK said BARBER was the main aggressor and hit her approximately six times.

BARBER’s female friend jumped in and assaulted her. And then, BARBER’s male friend assaulted her, hitting her approximately four times. When BARBER was assaulting SRK, she called her a “stupid bitch” and told her she should have opened the door for her. SRK said she and BARBER are not friends, but they visited each other at times. SRK called BARBER a neighbor. SRK said BARBER’s friends did not live at the apartment building, and she had never seen them before. SRK had a bloody lip and had blood on her shirt.

While speaking to SRK, Officer Mihigo heard a female speaking outside from a balcony. Officer Mihigo went outside and spoke to BARBER. BARBER said she did not hit anyone. When asked how she knew he was there for someone who was hit, BARBER said she did not know anything and that she was in the hallway. BARBER said that the complainant (SRK) caused trouble and was upset because she rang someone’s buzzer. At times, BARBER would go into an apartment unit and would not speak to officers. Officers ordered occupants of apartment #303 to exit.

Eventually, BARBER and the other occupants exited the apartment and were taken into custody. During a show-up SRK identified BARBER and two others who assaulted her. The door frame on SRK’s apartment door was broken. Inside the apartment, there was broken wood from the door frame. After a Miranda advisory, BARBER spoke to an officer. BARBER said she lost her key to the apartment complex and would dial SRK’s apartment code to be buzzed in. On this date, she dialed SRK’s apartment code and was allowed inside.

She went and knocked on SRK’s door to ask her why she was yelling. SRK opened the door and said, “I should slap you,” and then swung at her. BARBER’s cousins were there and began swinging at SRK. A neighbor had Ring camera video that showed BARBER kicking the door, and then disappearing from view. A short time later, BARBER and SRK are seen on camera from the direction of SRK’s apartment and are fighting.
