On January 14, 2026, at 2:13 PM Ofc. Hook of the Rochester Police Department was dispatched to Target North in Rochester on a report of a theft. Nathan Peter Tavares ([DOB REDACTED]), Defendant herein, had bagged $55.43 worth of merchandise and passed all points of sale. Defendant was stopped by loss prevention, but tried to walk away until he observed Ofc. Hook. At that point Defendant went to the loss prevention office. Defendant was observed grabbing items and never paying for the items after his card was declined.
Defendant then attempted to exit the store. Defendant was previously trespassed from the store on July 7, 2025. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: YOU MUST APPEAR FOR EVERY COURT HEARING REGARDING THIS CASE.
