Probable Cause
At 1:50 AM on December 31, 2025, Officer Super saw a tan 1999 Chevrolet Suburban bearing Minnesota license plates DLC455 traveling on Cleveland Avenue. The vehicle’s registration showed that the Suburban was red. Officer Super initiated a traffic stop when the Suburban pulled into the parking lot at [ADDRESS REDACTED] Southwest, New Brighton, Ramsey County. Officer Super wanted to make sure that the Suburban wasn’t stolen. Officer Super spoke to the driver, TONIAH JANICE JENSEN aka TONIAH JANICE LORGE [DOB REDACTED], who said she’d recently been pulled over for the same thing.
Jensen’s pupils were constricted and non-reactive to light. Officer Super asked Jensen when the last time she used drugs was, and she said it was a long time ago. Jensen agreed to perform field sobriety testing. Jensen fared poorly on the physical tests, and she was arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance. An officer found baggie of suspected methamphetamine and a bubble pipe inside and eyeglasses case when the Suburban was searched incident to towing. At 5:10 AM on December 31, 2025, a registered nurse collected a blood sample from Jensen pursuant to a search warrant.
The contents of the baggie recovered from the eyeglasses case tested positive for the presence of methamphetamine and weighed 0.73 grams. On February 25, 2026, the BCA submitted a report on the examination of physical evidence. Jensen had both amphetamine and methamphetamine in her blood sample. Amphetamine and methamphetamine are Schedule II controlled substances.
