At around 5:00 AM on June 17, 2026, officers went to [ADDRESS REDACTED], St. Paul, Ramsey County on a domestic that occurred at [ADDRESS REDACTED] East, St. Paul, Ramsey County earlier that morning. Officers spoke to ED, who believed his daughter had been beaten by her boyfriend, NOAH PIERRE MURPH [DOB REDACTED]. ED said his daughter had gone into the building with Murph. Officers made contact with ED’s daughter, MD [DOB REDACTED]. MD had a bloody lip and swollen face. MD was uncooperative with police and refused to provide details about what had happened.
MD only wanted her belongings. Murph had red marks all over her body and scratch marks on his neck. Murph told police he and MD were drinking at [ADDRESS REDACTED] East. MD got belligerent, and Murph asked her to leave. Murph and MD spoke on the phone several times after she left. MD returned to the Magnolia address around 2:00 AM. They argued and got physical with each other. MD grabbed the collar of Murph’s t-shirt and pulled it causing the scratch on his neck. Murph tried to stop MD by holding her arms.
Murph said he had to punch MD’s face to get away from her. Murph eventually left the apartment and went to his mother’s apartment at [ADDRESS REDACTED]. Murph called MD’s mom to get MD when she showed up at the Sherwood address asking for her purse and phone. Murph denied taking MD’s phone or purse, and he asked MD to leave. At around 11:45 PM on June 17, 2026, officers went to Regions Hospital and spoke to MD and her father. She and Murph have been dating for over a year and share an apartment at [ADDRESS REDACTED] East together.
Earlier that morning they were at their apartment and argued. Murph asked MD to leave, and she went to her another apartment where she took a shower. She missed two calls from Murph while in the shower. MD returned to [ADDRESS REDACTED] East, and Murph let her inside. Murph slapped her cheek. Murph then punched MD’s face with a series of hooks. MD fell to the floor. Murph got behind her, wrapped his forearms around her neck, and said, “You’re going to sleep.” Murph strangled MD three separate times.
MD lost consciousness during the second strangulation. MD thought Murph was going to snap her neck. MD was somewhat able to breathe when Murph strangled her. MD became lightheaded and saw stars and spots. Murph called MD’s mother to pick MD up. Murph left the apartment when MD’s father arrived. MD noticed that her black purse and iPhone were missing. MD had a large laceration inside her cheek from Murph’s assault that made it difficult for her to eat, drink, swallow and talk. MD and her father went to retrieve her belongings from Murph at the Sherwood address.
MD’s phone was pinging to that location. Murph denied he had MD’s items. Murph told MD and her father to leave or he would kill them. MD and her father told police Murph was on probation for committing a drive-by shooting on the residence of his child’s mother. At around 8:50 AM on June 18, 2026, officers arrested Murph near [ADDRESS REDACTED]. Officers asked Murph where MD’s purse and phone were. Murph gave officers MD’s purse and phone. MD told police she was still missing her passport card, her cash app card, her Venmo card, US Bank debit card, and her Running Aces Casino card.
