The male stated that his brother Bilaal Mohamed lived at the residence. When asked who had driven the black Dodge Charger into the garage he stated that it was his brother's car, and that his brother had just gotten home and then left with friends who picked him up. The male was advised that Mohamed had just fled from deputies and he then stated that Mohamed was downstairs. Mohamed then came upstairs from the basement and was placed under arrest and placed in the squad car. Deputy Johnson then spoke to the male a the residence again who stated that Mohamed had just gotten home and told him that if the cops come to just say he was not there.
Mohamed told him that he had just fled from the cops and he was scared because his license and tabs were expired and also mentioned the window tint. The brother informed deputies that the Charger was in the garage and gave them permission to enter the garage. Deputy Willey located the black Dodge Charger in the garage and noted a strong smell of burnt or hot rubber. Deputy Willey felt the passenger side tires and observed that they were warm to the touch and the hood of the car was also warm. The keys to the vehicle were observed on the passenger floorboard.
Deputy Willey spoke with the neighbor who had flagged Deputy Willey down, who stated that he saw the suspect vehicle coming pretty fast and then saw the garage door opening. There were little kids outside with their parents. The vehicle went right into the garage and closed the door. He then saw two squad cars pull into the area and knew they must be looking for them. LE was there in less than a minute. Mohamed was transported to the ADC and Mirandized. Mohamed stated that he wasn't thinking.
