At approximately 8:15 PM on November 1, 2025, the Chaska Police Department received a driving complaint regarding a vehicle with Minnesota Registration RDC025, indicating that the vehicle was swerving back and forth across the road. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle after that call, but were called again around 9:30 PM by another named individual indicating the same vehicle had passed by them and that there driver appeared to be passed out or bobbing their head behind the wheel. The vehicle was located near the intersection of 2nd Street and Maple Street in the City of Chaska, Carver County.
Officer Miranda approached the vehicle and identified the driver to be Renee Sue Pelovski [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter Defendant. Defendant was reclined in the seal and biting down on the seatbelt. Defendant denied needing medical attention. Officer Miranda noted an odor of alcohol coming from inside the vehicle. Defendant admitting to consuming alcohol earlier in the evening. Defendant indicated she would perform field sobriety tests, however Defendant became argumentative and the tests were discontinued.
Defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Carver County Jail where she was read the Minnesota Breath Test Advisory. Defendant agreed to provide a breath test, which resulted in a reading of.15 at 11:46 PM. Defendant was previously convicted of DWI on November 20, 2024. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn.
