On 01/25/2026 at 17:48, Jordan Police Officers were dispatched to a call for a domestic in progress at *** Chad Cir. Apt A2, Jordan, Scott County, Minnesota. While enroute, officers were told the reporting party his girlfriend is hitting him. He was punched in the nose and his nose is bleeding. Both parties have been drinking. His girlfriend is outside in the car, and the reporting party has the keys. She is in a black Nissan sedan. At the scene, the officer saw a female in the front passenger seat, later identified as Zachina (NMN) Harps, [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter the Defendant.
The Defendant was emotional, crying, and agitated. She stated she came out here to visit her boyfriend and he’s a cheating, lying b****. She has her stuff inside his apartment. If he wants her to leave, she will leave; she does not reside here. The officer then spoke with the reporting party, DAL, [DOB REDACTED]. The officer saw DAL was calm and he could smell the moderate odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath. The officer saw a drop of blood at the tip of his nose. He told the officer: - She hit me bro.
The Defendant is his girlfriend. They have been dating for 1 year. They have an intimate relationship. They had been drinking. The Defendant accused him of talking with "b******" on Snapchat. She accused him of liking white girls. “I aint going to lie, hell yeah I do”. “Can you blame me? I don’t gotta put up with this s*** from white girls”. She called him a “b**** as nigga” and then hit him.\ - She used her right fist and punched him right in the nose. His nose has been “leaking”. This happened about 10 mins ago.
He never touched her. She then said, “b**** you think you leaking blood now, wait til I hit you the next time”. She then put him in the headlock (from the front passenger seat of the vehicle) and started to choke him. She then jumped on top of him, put both hands around his neck and continued to choke him. She said “B****, you think you can’t breathe, I oughta kill you”. - When asked if he could breathe, he stated, “Hell no I couldn’t breathe, she choked the s*** out of me”. “She choked the f*** out of me”. He went inside and called 911. Officer then spoke with a passenger who had been in the car, RAW, [DOB REDACTED], who stated: They were having an argument over relationship stuff.
There was a lot of yelling. He was in the car for a few minutes while they were fighting and got out. He doesn't know how long they stayed in the vehicle. Officer told the Defendant to step out of the vehicle she was under arrest. The Defendant said she was not going to cooperate with officers because DAL is a liar. The Defendant physically resisted being placed in handcuffs. The Defendant was yelling towards DAL and was attempted to pull away. The officers arrested the Defendant for Domestic Assault, and she was taken to the Scot County Jail.
