On 3/27/2026 at 00:25 hours, a St. Paul Police Officer saw a vehicle driving south on Marion St from Como Ave in St. Paul, Ramsey County. The vehicle signaled a turn from the left lane, crossed the right lane, turned west on Thomas Ave, and then drove 30mph in a 20mph zone. While following the vehicle, the Officer could smell a strong odor of burned marijuana coming from the vehicle. The Officer stopped the vehicle near Western Ave on Thomas Ave. The Officer saw marijuana smoke leaving the vehicle when approaching the passenger side, saw marijuana blunts in the cup holder/ashtray, and saw a baggie of marijuana tucked in the driver's door pocket.
The occupants of the vehicle admitted there was marijuana in the vehicle. The driver was identified as Azion Qu Million MALLETT (DOB/1998-04-07). During a probable cause search, police found two narcotic scales with white powder residue on them in the vehicle’s center console. MALLETT was asked to empty his pockets. MALLLETT withdrew several items, including a plastic baggie containing a white powdery substance. When asked what it was, MALLET said "a little something, something." MALLETT was arrested.
And, during a search incident to arrest, police found two more baggies of marijuana in his pants pocket. MALLETT declined to be interviewed. The white powdery substance police recovered from MALLET’s person later field tested positive as Cocaine with a net weight of 2.18 grams.
