Probable Cause
On March 25, 2026, at 1127 hours, St. Paul police officers responded to 1254 Beech, St. Paul, Ramsey County, on a report of a domestic assault involving a handgun. LDP, [DOB REDACTED], stated that his wife, Tauheedah Lashae Partlow, [DOB REDACTED], assaulted him by striking him in the face with a handgun. LDP had a significant bleeding laceration on his right cheek. He explained that they had been arguing in the bedroom. They had both been drinking. He said that his wife punched him in the head. She stepped out of the room and returned with a 9mm Ruger handgun.
She started hitting him in the face with the handgun. He attempted to push her away. He said he went unconscious. When he came to, his wife was gone. He called 911. Officers located Partlow hiding in the basement. They arrested her. In a post-Miranda interview, she initially denied using a gun during the incident. She then admitted that she got the gun out after she punched him in the face. She said she was defending herself. Officers searched the residence and found a 9mm magazine and round. They could not locate the gun.
Officers noted that the house was extremely cluttered and messy.
