On December 11, 2025, at approximately 04:57 hours, Minneapolis Police Department officers responded to a call of "Paramedics Need Help" in the area of 1st Avenue North and 7th Street North in Minneapolis, Hennepin County. The call advised that a patient had pulled on knife on paramedics. Upon arrival, officers observed Quintin Charles Walker, [DOB REDACTED] (now referred to as "DEFENDANT"), walking southbound on 1st Avenue towards 8th Street. Paramedics advised officers they were OK and pointed towards DEFENDANT as he was walking away.
Officers approached DEFENDANT and attempted to detain him. DEFENDANT was non-compliant but was eventually taken into custody. Officers spoke with the paramedics, Victims C. M. And D. B., who told them they were called to the scene because DEFENDANT stated he had been pepper sprayed by an unknown person and wanted medical treatment. Paramedics explained they were parked outside of the Greyhound lobby entrance inside of Ramp B and were checking on DEFENDANT's vitals. DEFENDANT got upset because the blood pressure cuff was getting too tight for him.
Victim [NAME REDACTED] stated that DEFENDANT said, "F*** this s*** b****, you ain't trying to help me. Get me the f*** outta here. I'm going to fucken stab you." Victims C. M. And D. B. Then made DEFENDANT exit the ambulance and put his items outside. Victims C. M. And D. B. Then observed DEFENDANT grab what they believed to be either a knife or screwdriver out of his backpack. DEFENDANT held that item in an overhand grip with the sharp side down and starting to come towards them. Paramedics were able to secure themselves inside of the EMS rig and wait for police to respond.
Officers located a screwdriver in DEFENDANT's backpack. Video surveillance was observed that confirms the account of Victims C. M. And D. B. DEFENDANT is currently in custody at the Hennepin County Jail.
