On October 15, 2025, at approximately 1:28 PM, officer Wakumoto of the Blaine Police Department responded to a delayed report of theft from Cub Foods in the City of Blaine, County of Anoka, State of Minnesota. Loss prevention agents advised that on October 4, 2025, a female suspect entered the store and filled a cart with merchandise. The female then exited the store without paying for any items. Again on October 5, 2025, the same female entered the store and filled a cart with merchandise. The female then exited the store without paying for any items.
The total combined loss from both dates was $798.57. The officer used internal investigative resources, as well as consulted with the Roseville Police Department, to identify the suspect as ASHLEY SHANAE JENKINS, [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter "Defendant." The officer was able to confirm Defendant was the suspect in both of these thefts by comparing surveillance video to known photos of Defendant, including booking photos. The officer also learned she had been driving the suspect vehicle in this case during multiple other contacts with law enforcement.
