On October 30, 2025, at about 5:24 A.M., Bloomington Police were dispatched to the Mall of America east parking ramp at 8100 24th Avenue S in Bloomington, Hennepin County, on a report of damage to property. Mall of America Security had observed a male with shoulder-length blond hair wearing a dark jacket and red pants damaging a vehicle in the east parking ramp by using rocks, his hands, and feet. Officers arrived and located this male, who was identified as ANTHONY ALLEN HARTY [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein.
Surveillance video captured the damage to the vehicle (2023 Toyota RAV4), which includes a cracked front windshield, completely broken front passenger window, chipped back passenger window, bent windshield wipers, scratches and dents to the back passenger door, and a dented rear passenger side bumper. The cost to repair this damage is estimated to be well over $1,000. The vehicle owner did not give anyone consent to damage the vehicle. Defendant is currently in custody in Hennepin County Jail.
