On or about November 27, 2025 at approximately 7:53 PM, Officer Kaspszak of the Woodbury Police Department responded to a reported driving complaint involving a vehicle that had parked at [ADDRESS REDACTED] in the City of Woodbury, Washington County, Minnesota. The officer was advised that the suspect- vehicle hit the curb multiple times. The reporting party, H. J., advised that he was traveling on Military Road when the driver of the suspect-vehicle, later identified as BRANDON DANIEL SATHER [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein, began shining his brights at him.
H. J. Stated that he pulled over to allow Defendant to pass him. H. J. Advised that Defendant pulled up next to him and stated, "F**k you f****t, come follow me." H. J. Stated he believed Defendant to be intoxicated because he was slurring his words. H. J. Followed Defendant and observed him to swerve on the roadway, hit the curb, and then exit his vehicle and enter the garage at the above-mentioned address. The officer knocked on the front door of the residence and made contact with Defendant. Defendant almost fell backwards after opening the door.
Upon contact, the officer observed that Defendant presented with bloodshot and watery eyes, as well as slow and slurred speech. The officer detected the overwhelming odor of alcohol emanating from Defendant's person. Defendant advised that he had arrived home approximately ten minutes prior and he was alone. Defendant declined to participate in standardized field sobriety tests. Defendant was placed under arrest and transported to the Woodbury Police Department. Defendant was read the Minnesota Breath Test Advisory and agreed to submit to a DMT breath test, which displayed a result of 0.27 BAC at 9:57 PM. A review of Defendant's criminal history does not show any prior qualified impaired driving convictions.
