On November 4, 2025, at approximately 1005 hours, police responded to a residence on the 800 block of Cook Avenue E., St. Paul, Ramsey County a report of sexual assault. Officers met with MMC who reported that she was sexually assaulted in the early morning hours of November 1, 2025 by a guy she met on Facebook who had the moniker “Gymboy Ibrahimi,” later fully identified as ATALLAH IBRAHIMI, [DOB REDACTED]. The sexual assault, which involved penetration, occurred in IBRAHIMI’s vehicle as it was parked in front of her home.
MMC said she met IBRAHIMI via Facebook. They chatted electronically and met for the first time in person when he came to her house at around 0030 hours on November 1, 2025. After he arrive, they went to get fast-food at a nearby restaurant and returned to MMC’s residence around 0100 hours. MMC said she thanked IBRAHIMI for taking her to get food and was going to get out of his car when he locked the car doors. He then reached over her and leaned her seat-back down. V said words to the effect of, “No. No. No. My family is trying to come out.” IBRAHIMI replied, “No Spanish, no Spanish” and got on top of her.
MMC tried to push IBRAHIMI off her body but he grabbed her hands and pinned them above her head, scratching her hand in process. As IBRAHIMI held MMC down with one hand, he pulled down her pants to her knees with the other hand. He lifted her shirt, kissed her breasts and penetrated her vagina with his fingers. IBRAHIMI then lifted his skirt/dress and pulled out his penis. MMC again said “no,” but IBRAHIMI ignored her, spread MMC’s legs and used his penis to penetrate her vagina. After ejaculating, IBRAHIMI climbed to the back seat and changed his clothes.
He then unlocked the car and MMC was able to get out of the vehicle. MMC was taken to the hospital to undergo a medical forensic examination. During the exam, MMC said she had met IBRAHIMI through Facebook about a week prior to the assault. IBRAHIMI was helping her find a car. On October 31, 2025, IBRAHAMI asked if he could come over to show her a car he could get for her. MMC agreed but said it had to be after she got home from work, which would be around midnight. IBRAHIMI said that timing worked for him.
When IBRAHIMI arrived, MMC went outside to meet him. IBRAHIMI asked if she had family at home. For security, MMC told him, “Yes,” though no family lives with her. IBRAHIMI then took MMC to get food and they returned to her house. After parking, he lowered her seat, pulled up her shirt and started kissing her breasts. MMC said, “I yelled at him to stop because my family was still inside and I said that I was going to ask for help.” IBRAHIMI said her family wouldn’t hear anything because the windows were closed and the lights were off.
IBRAHIMI then grabbed MMC’s hand with one hand and pulled down her pants with the other. He put his fingers and penis inside her vagina and “he finished inside,” clarified as ejaculated in MMC’s vagina. IBRAHIMI then got into the back seat and changed clothes. MMC told IBRAHIMI to open the car door because she needed to leave. She also told him he needed to stop hurting her and she ran into her house. MMC said, “I kept telling him to stop, and he was saying, “No, baby.” After IBRAHIMI left, he sent her a text saying he was sorry.
