In court file ••-CR-••-••••, BRANDON ANTONIO ALLEN, [DOB REDACTED], was convicted of Simple Robbery, felony conviction date 3/4/2025. ALLEN is prohibited from possessing firearms and ammunition in the State of Minnesota. On November 24, 2025, at approximately 10:06 P.M., Saint Paul Officers were dispatched to an apartment building on Payne Avenue, Saint Paul, County of Ramsey, on a call where a suspect assaulted his neighbor and threatened other neighbors. Officers arrived and met JRT. JRT had blood on his face.
JRT said he was assaulted by a tenant who lives in [APT REDACTED] and identified as ALLEN. JRT said he heard an argument from [APT REDACTED] and went to investigate. He knocked on the door to ALLEN’s apartment, #32. ALLEN said, “What do you want?” ALLEN became verbally aggressive and said, “You’re a pervert.” JRT said ALLEN said he was going to kill him and shoot him in the face. ALLEN went back into his apartment and returned to the doorway while holding an object in his right hand. JRT thought the item was a firearm, but he was not able to see it because ALLEN was hiding it.
ALLEN’s girlfriend blocked ALLEN and yelled at him, “No, no, no!” JRT said he was afraid for his life and walked toward his apartment. ALLEN approached him from behind and punched him. ALLEN pinned him against a wall and continued to punch him approximately fifteen times. JRT escaped and went to BAS’s apartment. BAS said JRT banged on his door to let him inside. JRT told him he was hit and attacked. JRT had broken eyeglasses and blood on his face. BAS allowed JRT inside of his apartment. BAS knocked on ALLEN’s apartment door.
ALLEN got in his face, and said, “I got some for you. I will throw some people at you. I’m going to kill you and your family.” ALLEN exited his apartment and was arrested. ALLEN had blood on his hands. ALLEN was searched. A live shotgun shell was found in his shorts. ALLEN did not cooperate with officers and had to be carried to the squad car. Officers obtained a search warrant to search ALLEN’s apartment. A Glock 19 handgun was found in a drawer in a bedroom. A magazine with ammunition was found in the same drawer next to the Glock 19. A Glock 43X handgun-with magazine and live ammunition was found under the brown dresser.
There was another magazine with live ammunition in the same bag. Numerous 12-gauge shotgun ammunition, two containers of peppery spray, and a holster for the Glock 43X were found in ALLEN’s apartment. While in the cell, ALLEN banged, kicked, and screamed. Officer Dub opened the cell door and grabbed ALLEN. ALLEN refused to stand or walk. He was escorted to the booking area. During the escort, ALLEN kicked Officer Dub in his left shin. ALLEN’s girlfriend, EG, said she was in the apartment with ALLEN. They got into a verbal argument.
