Travis Bruce Bell

On June 3, 2025, at approximately 1934 hours, Metro Transit Police Officers, were observing live CCTV video in the area of Chicago Avenue and Franklin Avenue East BRT stop, Minneapolis, Hennepin County. Officers were observing this area as it is a high crime area. While watching the live video, Officers observed a male, later identified as TRAVIS BRUCE BELL, Defendant herein, with a bag of suspected controlled substances. The Defendant was reaching in and out of the bag while it was on his lap, then shaking hands with three other males, and handing them the contents of the bag.

The Defendant then gives his phone to the suspected buyer and appears to conduct an electronic transaction. Officers responded to the area and attempted to stop the Defendant. Officers began to explain to the Defendant that they observed him selling controlled substances through the CCTV cameras when they observed he was clenching something in his hands. Officers commanded the Defendant to drop what was in his hand and the Defendant began to stand up and refused to drop it. Officers began to place the Defendant under arrest and he tensed up, shoved an Officer, and began fighting to get away from Officers.

In a search incident to arrest, Officers located a yellow bag of FTP methamphetamine that weighed 0.21 grams, three baggies of green powder of FTP fentanyl weighing 0.78 grams total, and four baggies of FTP fentanyl weighing 0.90 grams total, and a BLU smartphone. The Defendant is currently out of custody.
