On February 3, 2026, Officers of the Rochester Police Department were dispatched to a residence in NE Rochester, MN, Olmsted County for a medical call. Officer Turner talked to Victim (adult female identified in police reports). He noted that she was visibly shaken and scared. CHRISTOPHER DOYLE THOMPSON [DOB REDACTED] was also present. Paramedics were attempting to talk to Victim, [NAME REDACTED] would not allow her to speak unless he was present. When she did speak, she was vague and would look to Thompson before responding.
Victim [NAME REDACTED] into the ambulance and then to the hospital. At the hospital she told nurses and Officer Turner that she and Thompson were in a relationship. On 1/29/26 and 2/2/26, Thompson elbowed her in the head and choked her with his arm causing her to almost pass out. And struggle to breathe. He then forced her to her knees, which caused pain and bruising. She had also been having constant jaw and head pain Since these incidents she has been experiencing severe memory loss. She had asked Thompson to take her to the hospital, but he refused.
Victim showed Officer Turner a bruise on her leg. Officer Turner noted that there was a welfare check requested for Victim on 1/29/26. It was reported that Victim called a nurses line reporting that she was elbowed in the side of the head, fell down, and was held down by a male. Officers went to the NE address to check on Victim [NAME REDACTED], but were not able to make contact with her. Thompson said that he and Victim were in a relationship, but denied assaulting her. He said that she has some health issues and accused him of poisoning her.
He offered to take her to the hospital but she declined, so he called the ambulance. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: YOU MUST APPEAR FOR EVERY COURT HEARING REGARDING THIS CASE. FAILURE TO APPEAR FOR COURT IS A CRIMINAL OFFENSE AND MAY RESULT IN ADDITIONAL CRIMINAL CHARGES BEING IMPOSED AND PUNISHED AS PROVIDED IN MINNESOTA STATUTES SECTION 609.49.
