On January 14, 2026, at approximately 11:00 PM, Officer Fritz with the Blaine Police Department was on routine patrol when he observed a Hyundai Santa Fe (MN/03743553) with expired registration and the registered owner had a revoked driver’s license. Officer Fritz conducted a traffic stop at County Road 10 and Jefferson St, city of Blaine, county of Anoka, and made contact with the driver and registered owner, B. A. S., and the passenger, later identified as REGINA KAY KRAIMER [DOB REDACTED], "Defendant" herein, who initially gave a false name.
Defendant had scabs on her face and scars on her hands consistent with narcotics use and appeared nervous and her hands were visibly shaking. B. A. S. And Defendant both admitted to recent drug use. A K9 Officer was called to the scene and the K9 alerted on the vehicle. In a search of the vehicle, a small dark women's leather wallet was located between the passenger seat and the center console. The wallet contained two small plastic baggies, one with a crystal-like substance and the other with whitish-brown powder-like substance, and a tan envelope containing a necklace.
Officers spoke with Defendant who stated the necklace was hers but denied that the wallet was hers. The Midwest Regional Forensic Laboratory confirmed the substances were methamphetamine and weighed a total of 0.305 grams.
