COOK continued to run and was last seen in the backyard of [ADDRESS REDACTED] N. COOK dropped a loaded Taurus G2C 9mm (#ACE904905) in the alley behind the Illion address. COOK was not apprehended on scene. The BCA developed a profile from the recovered firearm and ran the profile through the MN Convicted Offender DNA Database. It reveals a match to COOK. The profile will be run once a known sample is obtained. 3 27-CR-25-32249 Filed in District Court State of Minnesota 12/23/2025 The BCA developed profiles from swabbing the recovered Envoy.
The profile from the interior driver’s door is a match to JOHNSON from the National DNA Index System; the profile will be run once a known sample is obtained. A check into COOK's record revealed that on May 15, 2015, COOK was adjudicated delinquent of Burglary in the Second Degree for an offense that occurred in Hennepin County on August 29, 2013 (MNCIS File No.: 27-JV-13-8061). COOK has previously been convicted of felony prohibited person. There are surveillance images of JOHNSON, COOK, and MARTIN all together before, during, and after the robbery.
Law enforcement was able to identify all three of them from these images. A warrant is requested due to the public safety risk presented by this offense.
