On or about October 10, 2025, law enforcement personnel with the Coon Rapids Police Department responded to Kwik Trip, located at [ADDRESS REDACTED] NW, Coon Rapids, Anoka County, Minnesota for a report of suspected drugs that were located by an employee. Upon arrival, law enforcement made contact with the reporting party and manager of Kwik Trip, L. R. E. Law enforcement subsequently learned that an employee of Kwik Trip, S. T. S., located suspected methamphetamine on company grounds. As a part of the investigation, surveillance footage of the incident was reviewed by law enforcement.
Surveillance footage captured a male suspect, later identified as ANDERSON J. PRICE [DOB REDACTED], herein after Defendant, enter the store. After entering the store, the Defendant reaches into his right pocket of his pants to grab his phone. Upon doing so, a baggie falls out of the Defendant’s pocket. The baggie contained a clear, crystal-like substance consistent with the appearance of methamphetamine. The suspected methamphetamine was secured by law enforcement and transported to the Coon Rapids Police Department.
The substance field tested positive as methamphetamine. On November 5, 2025, the Midwest Regional Forensic Laboratory confirmed the substance as methamphetamine, a Schedule II controlled substance. The methamphetamine weighed.416 grams with a level of confidence of 95.45%.
