Deanthony Dontrell Wallace

On December 3, 2025, officers responded to a report of a theft at Kohl's located at 8440 Highway 7, St. Louis Park, Hennepin County, Minnesota. The reporting party indicated that an African American male wearing black pants, coat with a hood, and boots had selected electronic items, wrapped them in a shirt, and concealed the items in his coat. The suspect left the store passing all points of sale without making a purchase. The suspect was seen running away from the store. Officers apprehended the suspect, later identified as DEANTHONY DONTRELL WALLACE, DEFENDANT herein, who was confirmed by the reporting party to be the suspect observed by the reporting party.

Officers recovered the stolen merchandise from the DEFENDANT, which was valued at $554.97. The DEFENDANT did not have permission to take the items from the store. The DEFENDANT was previously trespassed from the Kohl's location with an expiration date of 12/27/2025. The DEFENDANT was previously convicted of felony receiving stolen property in 2024, in Court File No. 62-CR-24-4650, in violation of Minn. Stat. 609.53. The DEFENDANT is currently in custody.
