On March 10, 2026, at approximately 2:20 A.M., deputies with the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office conducted a pat search of an inmate identified as STEFAN MIKEL HOLLINS, [DOB REDACTED], DEFENDANT, while he was in custody at the Hennepin County Jail in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. During the pat search, a deputy located a plastic baggie containing a large amount of a white substance in Defendant's sock. Defendant was in custody following an arrest by Minneapolis Police after officers had observed Defendant take money from an adult female and give the money to an associate who then gave the adult female a white substance.
Defendant had $287.93 in cash on his person at the time of his arrest. The substance was later weighed and field tested. It weighed 30.23 grams and field tested positive for both methamphetamine and fentanyl. Defendant is in custody at the Hennepin County Jail. For that reason, the State requests the Complaint issue as a Warrant. A review of Defendant's criminal history revealed several convictions for felony methamphetamine delivery charges in Illinois.
