On July 24, 2025, a city of Champlin Police Department investigator was assigned to follow-up on a Cybertip from the internet application “Kik” which reported that a user was in possession of two media files depicting pornographic works involving minors. The investigator was able to view the images provided in the Cybertip to confirm that they depicted pornographic works involving minors. Using the IP address and username provided with the Cybertip, the investigator determined that the user of the Kik account was an individual identified as KENNETH JOHN DENOMA, [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter Defendant.
Defendant resides on the 6400 block of 117th Ave. N., in the city of Champlin, in Hennepin County, in the state of Minnesota. The investigator obtained a search warrant to search Defendant’s residence. On August 6, 2025, officers executed the search warrant, and also performed a routine traffic stop near the residence, where they located Defendant in his vehicle. Officers seized Defendant’s iPhone and a laptop computer from his car. Officers then entered the residence, where they seized additional electronic devices.
During a forensic extraction of the iPhone seized from Defendant’s vehicle, the investigator located several media files that were pornographic works involving minors, described as follows, and corresponding with each count of the complaint: 1. A 40 second video depicting a minor female (approximately 10-12 years old). The female is wearing a sports bra and based on minimal breast development, she may be in the beginning stages of puberty. The female lays back and exposes her vagina and masturbates.
This is the same file that was reported in the Cybertip. 2. A 31 second long video also reported in Cybertip. The video depicts what I suspect to be an infant based on the size of the vagina and the undeveloped vulva. The male on the video has his penis pressed up to the vagina and ejaculates into it. Based on the size difference, the penis is not inside of the vagina. Based on my observations, I would estimate the child [NAME REDACTED] is less than 1 year old. Defendant is out of custody.
