DAVIN LEVON MCCRAY, [DOB REDACTED], has the following prior domestic violence related convictions in the prior ten years. 19-WS-CR-20-171, Assault 5th Deree w/in 3 years, gross misdemeanor conviction 4/9/2021 19-HA-CR-19-2918, Domestic Assault, felony conviction 10/5/2020 19-HA-CR-19-2361, Domestic Assault Strangulation, felony conviction 10/5/2020 ••-CR-••-••••, Domestic Abuse Violate OFP within 10 years, felony conviction 3/1/2017 In court file ••-CR-••-••••, there is a Domestic Abuse No Contact Order dated 11/13/2025 that prohibits MCCRAY from having contact with PMH. There are pending charges of felony Domestic Assault, date of offense 9/27/2025 in ••-CR-••-••••. Bail was set at $75,000 on 11/13/2025, and an OH is scheduled for 12/11/25. On September 10, 2025, at approximately 9:26 P.M., Saint Paul Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Manomin Avenue, Saint Paul, County of Ramsey, on a domestic assault.
Officer arrived and met PMH, who had a bite mark on her right cheek, scratch marks on her right arm, and bleeding and swelling to her bottom lip. PMH said MCCRAY is her ex-boyfriend. They have a child [NAME REDACTED]. PMH said she locked the front porch door, but MCCRAY forced his way through the door and walked into the house. He said he wanted to use the bathroom, but went to her bedroom and grabbed her phone. He exited her bedroom with her phone and accused her of cheating. They argued while in the living room, the main level of the house, and the porch area.
As he walked away from the house, she asked for her phone. They got into a physical altercation near the porch door. MCCRAY leaned in and bit her on the right cheek. She does not remember how she was scratched on her right arm or the lip injury. She was able to get her phone from MCCRAY before he left in a black Jeep. Officers spoke with PMH’s daughters (sixteen-year-old V1 and eleven-year-old V2, who were present during the incident. V1 said she and V2 were going to watch a movie when they heard knocking at their front door.
Their mother-PMH-went to the door to see who it was. V1 recognized it was MCCRAY. PMH allowed MCCRAY into the house to use the bathroom. When MCCRAY exited the bathroom, he asked PMH if they could go into another room to talk, but PMH declined. MCCRAY walked around the house looking for clues of another man being there. MCCRAY grabbed PMH and told her to go outside to talk. PMH said she would rather talk in the living room. MCCRAY and PMH eventually exited the house and spoke on the front porch. They heard MCCRAY said, “Don’t touch me.” V1 heard them get into a physical scuffle.
MCCRAY took PMH’s phone and walked toward his car. They argued at the driver’s side door of the vehicle when MCCRAY bit PMY on the cheek. PMH said she was going to call police. MCCRAY entered the house and threw PMH’s phone on the floor of the living room. MCCRAY got into PMH’s face, screamed, and accused her of cheating on him. An officer noted the chain lock on the door to the front porch was broken.
