On or about June 07, 2025, a male, identified through investigation as SHAMUS MICHAEL SHOOP [DOB REDACTED], Defendant herein, went to the Lowe’s store located at [ADDRESS REDACTED]. NW, Coon Rapids, Anoka County, MN, selected a gas-powered minibike valued at $799, and left the store without attempting to pay. After leaving the store, Defendant loaded the minibike into a gray Mitsubishi Outlander with MN plate HVK461. The gray Outlander registers to P. A. A., who is Defendant’s mother, at [ADDRESS REDACTED]. NW, Coon Rapids, MN. On July 11, 2025, Law Enforcement went to [ADDRESS REDACTED]. NW and located the stolen minibike in the driveway of the residence.
The gray Mitsubishi Outlander was also in the driveway. Law Enforcement spoke with P. A. A., who stated her son, Defendant, purchased the minibike a week or two before. P. A. A. Confirmed Defendant lives at the residence. The minibike was ultimately recovered. On or about June 23, 2025, Defendant went to the Lowe’s store located at [ADDRESS REDACTED]. NE, Blaine, Anoka County, MN, selected a Hisense air conditioner valued at $329.00, and left the store without attempting to pay. After leaving the store, Defendant loaded the air conditioner into the same gray Mitsubishi Outlander with MN plate HVK461. Law Enforcement review surveillance footage from both Lowe’s locations of the thefts and confirmed Defendant’s identity based on prior contacts, and by reviewing Defendant’s driver’s license photo and previous booking photos.
The aggregate value of the items stolen is approximately $1,128.00.
