On December 12, 2025, at approximately 10:26 A.M., Saint Paul Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Cleveland Avenue South, Saint Paul, County of Ramsey, on a domestic assault. Dispatch notes indicated suspect was identified as ex-boyfriend. Officer Dahir arrived and made contact with JNC. JNC said she left her apartment to take the trash out when she saw XYHRAN DELANE WALLACE, [DOB REDACTED], in the hallway. He confronted her about texting other people. She began to walk away from him and to her apartment.
WALLACE followed her and barged into her apartment. WALLACE grabbed her phone from her back pocket, threw it on the floor trying to break it. She tried to grab her phone, but WALLACE threw it into the bedroom. JNC ran to her bedroom to grab her phone. When she got to her bed, WALLACE got on top of her and started to choke her with both hands for about 10-15 seconds. He said, “You keep playing with me like I won’t kill you.” JNC said she could breathe a little, but was not able to speak or scream.
She thought he was going to kill her. WALLACE stopped choking her and hit her “with a three piece combo.” He punched and slapped her. WALLACE fled the scene as her friends called police. JNC had a minor [NAME REDACTED]. JNC said WALLACE is known to carry a firearm. JNC also said WALLACE shot into her apartment before. In blueprint questions, JNC said WALLACE has threatened to kill her in the past. He has also said he would kill her and her friends if they called police. JNC believes WALLACE will seriously injure or kill her.
WALLACE was not on scene when officers responded. Witness ZI said JNC and WALLACE got into an altercation that became physical. WALLACE entered the apartment uninvited and argued with JNC, saying, “You keep playing with me.” JNC asked WALLACE to leave her house, but he refused. JNC tried to get on her phone to call police, but WALLACE grabbed her phone and threw it on the floor. ZI picked up JNC’s phone before WALLACE grabbed it. WALLACE and JNC got into a physical altercation and struggle with each other.
COLEMAN tried to get her phone, but WALLACE grabbed her by the hair and threw her to the floor. WALLACE punched JNC multiple times while she was on the floor. Police were called and WALLACE fled the scene. During the incident, WALLACE said he had “three B’s for y’all.” ZI interpreted this to mean three bullets for JNC, her, and their other friend. ZI also said in the past, WALLACE fired several shots into JNC’s apartment. In court file ••-CR-••-••••, WALLACE was charged with misdemeanor Domestic Assault, JNC victim.
