On March 14, 2026, at approximately 5:53 P.M., Minneapolis police responded to a Shotspotter activation and reports of a shooting at the intersection of 30th Avenue North and Russell Avenue North, Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. 911 callers reported multiple vehicles and parties in the intersection shooting at each other. Upon arrival, officers located a cellphone and numerous discharged cartridge casings (DCCs). Officers spoke with a witness, who provided a recording of the incident. The recording showed multiple parties standing near the intersection and a male suspect wearing a black hoodie, gray vest, and black pants with a handgun.
The male points the handgun at the other individuals near the intersection and runs southbound on Russell Ave. N. As multiple gunshots are heard. Officers identified several involved vehicles, including a red Dodge Charger with a black hood, a black Ford Escape, a gray Honda Civic, and a silver Ford Focus with no front bumper. As officers were securing the shooting scene it was aired that two gunshot victims had shown up at North Memorial Medical Center (NMMC). A short time later, it was aired that another two gunshot victims had arrived at Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC). All four victims had non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers responded to NMMC where they identified SHAPRE TYRENE CALLOWAY [DOB REDACTED], KEVON DOMINIC ROBINSON (4/4/01), and CORTASIA CATERA RAPLEY [DOB REDACTED] as involved parties. CALLOWAY stated that the incident stemmed from an ongoing dispute with a male identified as TYSHAWN JAQUAN HARRISON [DOB REDACTED]. She stated that she had agreed to meet up with HARRISON and his girlfriend, RAVEN ELAYEN ADDISON [DOB REDACTED] to fight ADDISON. She stated she had ROBINSON and RAPLEY in her vehicle, a gray Honda Civic, and they drove to the 3000 block of Russell.
She dropped ROBINSON off and, after she drove away, she was boxed in by two vehicles. She stated ADDISON, an unknown female, and HARRISON approached her vehicle. She stated she grabbed a tire iron because she thought she was going to get maced. She stated she saw two males (later identified through surveillance video and witness statements as TYRE DEAUTRY MEUX MCQUILLER [DOB REDACTED] and ARMANI ADDISON-DAVIS [DOB REDACTED]) pointing guns at her, and one of the males shot her. She stated she then ran to the hospital.
CALLOWAY sustained gunshot wounds to the hand and torso. ROBINSON stated he was with CALLOWAY and RAPLEY, and that he exited the vehicle at the 3000 block of Russell Ave. He stated CALLOWAY and RAPLEY drove away but were boxed in by a black SUV and a red Dodge Charger. He stated he came around the corner and saw a male with his hands in his pockets reaching for CALLOWAY’s door. He then saw a male (later confirmed through surveillance video and witness statements to be MCQUILLER) get out of a red car wearing a ski mask, coat and basketball shorts.
