7/8/1960 (65), violated the law as set forth herein. On February 12, 2026, Douglas County Sheriff’s Deputy Aaron Vega assisted the West Central Minnesota Drug and Violent Crime Task Force in executing a search warrant at the Defendant’s property located at [ADDRESS REDACTED] NE in Carlos Township, Douglas County, Minnesota. The Defendant resides in a recreational camper on the property. In the Defendant’s camper, Dep. Vega located an over-the-counter pill container inside a clear jar on the kitchen table.
Inside the pill container Dep. Vega found a baggie containing a crystal-like substance that, based on his training and experience, he believed to be methamphetamine. The controlled substance NIK-tested positive for methamphetamine with a total weight of 1.9 grams. A review of the Defendant’s criminal history reveals two prior felony-level controlled substance convictions: specifically, a prior 5th Degree Controlled Substance Possession conviction under Douglas County (Court File No. ••-CR-••-••••) on 6/22/2023 and a prior Aiding & Abetting 1st Degree Controlled Substance Sale conviction in Douglas County (Court File No. 21-K0-01-1067) on 1/16/2003.
