10/6/1999 (26), violated the law as set forth herein. On January 23, 2026, at approximately 12:30 P.M., SA Josh Whiting with the Alexandria Police Department was contacted by Chief Corey Hooth with the Milbank Police Department in South Dakota. Chief Hooth informed S. A. Whiting that he was investigating a burglary that took place in Milbank, SD, on 1/12/26. The building burglarized was described as a large commercial building that was being used as an arcade for the residents of Milbank. The suspects involved in the case were later identified as Michael Todd Zenk, [DOB REDACTED] (“Defendant”), and his brother, Mason Tyler Zenk.
The items stolen during the burglary were identified as miscellaneous arcade games, multiple flatscreen TVs, (30) kerosene heaters, (1) Milwaukee heater, and a deep freezer. Investigators were informed that Mason’s mother, J. Z., located text messages on Mason’s cellphone between him and the Defendant talking about the burglary. A key fob for the arcade was also found inside of Mason’s vehicle. J. Z. Confirmed that there were stolen items located inside of the residence ([ADDRESS REDACTED], Alexandria, MN 56308), and she mentioned that Michael just showed up with all of the stuff one day.
APD officers responded to the address above and secured the residence while investigators took a statement from J. Z. During the interview, J. Z. Disclosed that the items located inside the residence were consistent with the items stolen in the burglary, and she was very cooperative and advised officers to take the property. J. Z. Was advised that a search warrant would be completed before taking any items. J. Z. Showed investigators (3) Roku TVs, (3) heaters, (1) meat slicer, (1) deep freezer, and a Simpson’s arcade game that were believed to be stolen.
A search warrant was executed, and the following items were recovered from the Defendant’s residence: (2) Dyna Glow heaters (1) Mr. Heater Black Arctic King deep freezer Hobart industrial style meat slicer LG TV Serial # 011RMAQ66F200 LG TV Serial # 006RMDZ4R978 Roku TV Serial # PB221492C50062636 Furrion 65” TV (still in the box). The box said “Milbank, SD” handwritten on the side. Simpsons arcade game Big Buck Hunter arcade game Frogger arcade game Terminator arcade game NBA Jam arcade game Galaga arcade game 2 ••-CR-••-•••• Filed in District Court State of Minnesota 1/27/2026 The value of the stolen items exceeds $1,000.00. The Simpsons arcade game was disassembled and placed in a FedEx box that had the Defendant’s name on the shipping sticker.
J. Z. Mentioned that the Defendant sold the game on eBay and was planning on shipping it to the buyer. The Defendant is currently on probation and subject to a probation violation warrant regarding a felony Check Forgery conviction referenced under Douglas County District Court File No. ••-CR-••-••••.
