Investigator obtained the following evidence regarding Enam Mohamud Ibrahim, herein Defendant: 1. A Snapchat video artifact, dated March 17th, 2026, 07:13:48 UTC, depicting Defendant wielding a tan handgun with a high-capacity “drum” magazine and a black “switch” in a bathroom with red decorative wall artwork. The geographical location of the video indicates that on March 17th, 2026, between 07:03:48 UTC and 07:16:41 UTC, Defendant was in very close proximity to [ADDRESS REDACTED] (latitude/longitude: 45.13490,-93.34719), Brooklyn Park, Hennepin County, Minnesota, Defendant’s primary residence. 2. A Snapchat video artifact dated March 18th, 2026, 05:08:51 UTC, depicting Defendant wielding a black handgun with an extended magazine and a gold-colored “switch”. 3. From Defendant’s phone, Investigator observed a video artifact located within the media subcategory (created date: February 9th, 2026) depicting Ibrahim wielding a black handgun with a silver-colored device affixed to the back of the slide, consistent with a switch.
The video is captioned with the text: “U know somebody got da switch”. This video was sourced from Snapchat per the exit data. Investigator confirmed that the post came from a Snapchat account associated with Defendant. On April 8, 2026, law enforcement executed search warrants at Defendant's residence yielded the firearms described above. At least one of the firearms recovered had an altered serial number. Some of the firearms recovered were determined to be stolen. Investigator knows a switch to be a device that converts a firearm from semi- to fully automative based on his background training and experience.
Investigator knows Defendant to be a known member of the YSL criminal street gang based on his background, training, and experience. Defendant is currently in custody.
