On November 12, 2025, Officer Hoefs of the Austin Police Department responded to Runnings located at 1400 18th Avenue NW in the City of Austin, County of Mower, for a report of a theft that occurred the day prior. Officer Hoefs arrived and made contact with E. H. (an adult male), the manager of Runnings. E. H. Stated that on November 11, 2025, a female, later identified as TIFFANY JEAN RADLEY, DOB/030683, the defendant herein, entered the store and obtained a red shopping basket. The defendant was then seen placing four (4) boxes of.223 rifle ammunition in the basket.
The defendant then went to the tool section of the store and placed two (2) Dewalt batteries and three (3) tools into her shopping basket. The defendant was then seen placing a sweatshirt in the basket, covering up all the items she had previously put in. E. H. Said the defendant then proceeded to the exit and walked out the door at approximately 12:20 P.M. E. H. Said the theft alert alarms went off, but the defendant failed to stop. The defendant then got into the passenger seat of a white Honda Insight that was parked outside the front doors and drove off.
E. H. Provided Officer Hoefs with his written report, including detailing the items the defendant stole, and security footage of the incident. The defendant stole from Runnings the following items, total value of $1,524.96: Two (2) Dewalt 20/60v batteries (valued at $319 each) One (1) Milwaukee M12 Fuel (valued at $269) One (1) Milwaukee M12 Fuel Extended reach rachet (valued at $249) One (1) box of Federal.223 ammunition (valued at $44.99) Two (2) boxes of Hornady Custom rifle.223 ammunition (valued at $44.99 each) One (1) box of Fiocchi extrema.223 ammunition (valued to $34.99 Hoefs forwarded the information about the Runnings theft to various law enforcement agencies to assist in identifying the defendant.
On January 8, 2026, Det. Hicks was advised that Sioux City, IA Police Department Crime Analysis Unit identified the defendant as the suspect in the Runnings theft. Sioux City informed Hicks that the defendant is a habitual offender and known to be a shoplifter. Hicks obtained a booking photo of the defendant dated November 17, 2025, and confirmed her to be the same person who stole from Runnings on November 11, 2025. Hicks attempted to contact the defendant with negative results. The defendant’s whereabouts are currently unknown, and an arrest warrant is necessary to bring her before the Court.
