Adrian Shane Martinez

On March 20, 2026, law enforcement responded to the VFW 33 Post in Crystal, Hennepin County, Minnesota, for a report of an assault. Upon, arrival law enforcement located a man, later identified as Adrian Shane Martinez, [DOB REDACTED] (Defendant herein) who was being held by two males. Law enforcement learned from multiple witnesses that the Defendant had grabbed K. H. By her hair on the back of her head and forcefully pulled her backwards while she was sitting on a bar stool. The barstool flipped over and K. H. Fell to the ground.

Law enforcement also watched surveillance footage which showed the Defendant walk up to K. H. And grabbed her by the hair. The Defendant then pulled backward while still holding K. H.’s hair. K. H. And the barstool fell to the floor. The Defendant kicked K. H. While she was on the floor. The Defendant is also seen pouring his drink on K. H. K. H. Went to the Maple Grove Hospital on March 21, 2026. K. H. Told medical personnel that she had back pain radiating to her left upper back/ ribs. K. H. Also said the pain exacerbates when breathing.

K. H. Was diagnosed with an acute nondisplaced fracture of her left lateral sixth rib. The State is requesting a warrant given the serious nature of the assault and for community safety as the Defendant is on probation for a Felony DWI in court file 27-CR-24-26503 while committing an assault in a bar.
