On December 21, 2025, MORGANN DANNIELLE ROBINSON [DOB REDACTED], Defendant, assaulted two Detention Deputies, Victim 1 and Victim 2, at the Adult Detention Center in Hennepin County, Minnesota. Earlier that morning, Victim 1 addressed Defendant over the intercom using the last name “Robinson.” Shortly after, Victim 1 entered Defendant’s housing module, Defendant verbally confronted Victim 1, swearing and yelling that deputies use her preferred last name “Harges.” Victim 1 attempted to calm Defendant down, but Defendant aggressively got in Victim 1’s face.
Victim 2 saw Defendant “nose-to- nose” with Victim 1, so she stepped in between them and ordered Defendant to return to her cell. Defendant then pushed Victim 2. Victims continued ordering Defendant back to her cell, but she pushed Victim 2 again. Victims 1 and 2 then tried to physically escort Defendant back to her cell. Instead of going to her cell, Defendant struck Victim 2 in the left side of the face, breaking Victim 2’s glasses. Defendant then ran at Victim 1 and punched her on the right side of the forehead.
Defendant continued swinging and striking Victim 1 multiple times. Victims called for back-up and nearby deputies came to help subdue Defendant. Victim 1 received a bruise and swelling on her forehead, a cut on her thumb, and a broken, bloody fingernail. Victim 2 complained of a headache and back pain. Both Victims were transported to the hospital for evaluation. Defendant is in custody.
