On or about December 26, 2025, Minneapolis police responded to an assault at [ADDRESS REDACTED], Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. The reporting party, “Victim” herein, told police that a male, later identified as Jestin Demitchell Davis [DOB REDACTED] “Defendant” herein, assaulted her in the face several times with a gun. She said she still had marks on her forehead from the firearm. When police arrived they made contact with the victim. She said she came over to get her mail, once inside the defendant beat her up.
She said Defendant had been trying to get her to come over for a couple days. She said when she went inside defendant was inside the kitchen, hitting his dog. While inside, he destroyed her cellphone while she was calling 911. She said while she was speaking to the call taker he pistol whipped her. Defendant then took her wallet, including her cash, and her purse. The wallet was built into her phone case. She told police she was hit with an automatic firearm. While at the scene police made contact with another male, “Witness 1” herein.
He told police that he dropped the victim off at defendant’s house. He left and came back and waited for the victim. He said when she came outside, he observed injuries to her face. An investigator reviewed the 911 call, victim can be heard saying: "He beat me with a gun" "He had a gun to my head, the front, the side and directly to my ear." "He pistol-whipped me with a gun all on my face." "I have nothing but pistol marks all over my whole entire face." Defendant has the following convictions: - Threats of violence (27-CR-20-9814), convicted 5/23/2023. Defendant is in custody at the Hennepin County Jail.
Defendant poses a threat to public safety. The State respectfully requests a warrant issued with this complaint.
