On September 22, 2025, officers responded to a call for past action shoplifting at Victoria’s Secret at the Mall of America at 220 West Market, in the City of Bloomington, County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota. Officers learned that an individual had entered the store on 11 separate occasions between June 18, 2025, and August 23, 2025, specifically: On June 18, 2025, the individual concealed a single fragrance in a bag and left without paying. On June 19, 2025, the individual concealed three fragrances in a bag and left without paying.
On June 21, 2025, the individual concealed three fragrances in a bag and left without paying. On July 1, 2025, the individual concealed two fragrances in a bag and left without paying. On July 11, 2025, the individual concealed one fragrance in a bag and left without paying. On August 13, 2025, the individual concealed two fragrances in a bag and left without paying. On August 14, 2025, the individual concealed four fragrances in a bag and left without paying. On August 16, 2025, the individual concealed one fragrance in a bag and left without paying.
On August 17, 2025, the individual concealed three fragrances in a bag and left without paying. On August 20, 2025, the individual concealed two fragrances in a bag and left without paying. On August 23, 2025, the individual concealed two fragrances in a bag and left without paying. The total value of the stolen fragrances was approximately $1,658.75. Officers reviewed surveillance footage of the incidents and were able to identify the individual as Nakia Juan Kearney [DOB REDACTED] based on prior interactions.
