On December 18, 2025, at approximately 6:07 P.M., Bloomington Officers responded to a domestic assault which occurred at [ADDRESS REDACTED]., Bloomington, Hennepin County. They arrived on scene and met with an adult female, hereinafter "Victim." She reported to officers that her head hurt. She said that her wife, NAOMI TRAINER, [DOB REDACTED], hereinafter "Defendant," had choked her and she couldn't breathe. She said Defendant used both hands, she could not breathe or talk and that it lasted approximately 15 seconds.
While speaking with officers, Victim [NAME REDACTED], crying and her lip trembled. Officers observed discoloration to the right and front side of her neck. She said that this started earlier that day when Victim went to watch a movie in the bedroom with the boys, which upset Defendant. Defendant got mad and told her to leave. They argued and then it got physical. Victim said that Defendant started to choke her, punched her in the face and made one of their children put on a coat and kicked him out of the apartment.
Defendant grabbed Victim by the neck and hit her head forcefully against the wall in the hallway. Defendant choked her after this, grabbed her by her shirt and forced her onto the couch, telling her "I will kill you" and punched her in the face. She started to choke Victim again, before eventually throwing her out of the apartment. Once in the hallway, Victim [NAME REDACTED] at a neighboring apartment until officers arrived. Officers on scene spoke with both of the children, who stated they saw Defendant yelling at Victim to get out and then yelled at them to get out.
The son saw Defendant choke Victim [NAME REDACTED] called 911 for emergency help. They saw Victim [NAME REDACTED] on the couch. Officers made contact with Defendant at her apartment door, where she was told she was under arrest. She was taken into custody and brought to the Hennepin County Jail where she remains in custody.
