On 05/18/2025 at about 2354 hours, St. Anthony Police stopped a vehicle that registered to a non- compliant sex offender after spotting it driving south on Snelling Drive at Hollywood Court in Falcon Heights, Ramsey County. The driver and registered owner, JTH, was arrested. The passenger, whom police recognized as Ronald Steven ELLIOTT ([DOB REDACTED]) from previous criminal incidents, had active warrants. When police arrested ELLIOTT, they found a small white baggie containing suspected fentanyl in his front left jeans pocket.
ELLIOTT said that it was his fentanyl. They also found four credit cards belonging to other people in his pants pocket. ELLIOTT said the cards were from a storage unit. The suspected fentanyl later tested positive for fentanyl with a net weight of 0.65 grams ELLIOTT claimed he had ingested fentanyl and was transported to Regions Hospital. For purposes of Rule 6.02, ELLIOTT has open felony cases for: Receiving Stolen Property; RCAO # [PHONE REDACTED] Fleeing Police in a Motor Vehicle; ••-CR-••-•••• Auto Theft; ••-CR-••-•••• Mail Theft; ••-CR-••-••••. ELLIOTT’s felony conviction history includes: 3rd Degree Burglary; ••-CR-••-•••• Auto Theft; ••-CR-••-•••• Possession of Methamphetamine; 2022CF000079 (WI) ELLIOTT currently has at least one active warrant.
A warrant, therefore, is requested.
