On November 27, 2025, at approximately 3:43 A.M., Minneapolis Police Officers responded to a burglary in progress at an office building located at [ADDRESS REDACTED] South, Minneapolis, Hennepin County. Officers approached the business and discovered that the back door to the building had been pried open and then propped open with a spray paint can. Officers could hear people inside. Officers attempted to arrest the people inside the building, and they began to flee. Officers observed a male exiting the West door who was later identified through IBIS as MOHAMED HASSAN ROOBLE, Defendant herein.
Once the Defendant saw Officers, he began running. The Defendant ignored commands to stop, once Officers caught up to him he was uncooperative and continued to resist arrest. Officers attempted to taze him but the probes could not make contact with his skin for an effect. Officers caught him and he then went limp and refused to get up. The Defendant then stated he ingested "all the fentanyl." EMS responded. Once discharged, the Defendant was transported to the Hennepin County Jail and booked. The Defendant had an active felony warrant.
The Defendant had been in possession of a black backpack at the scene and discarded it while fleeing. Officers located in the backpack and on his person a plastic jar containing 2.01 grams of FTP fentanyl, a pink paper containing 0.38 grams of FTP fentanyl, and a yellow paper containing 0.11 grams of FTP fentanyl. Management of the Office building stated that none of the individuals had permission to be in the building. Several TVs were stolen from the building but security did not capture which of the parties took them.
The Defendant is currently out of custody.
