28 pm, Deputy King entered the apartment building and made his way to Adult Female A’s apartment. While outside the apartment he heard a verbal altercation inside the apartment. Deputy King knocked on the door and was met by a man and two women. The man was later identified as MOISES MORALES BLANCO. BLANCO stated he was leaving and he did nothing. Deputy King advised him that he was not free to leave and his partner was outside and needed to talk to him. During this process, BLANCO handed Adult Female A a key to the apartment.
Deputy King then met with Adult Female A. Through an interpreter, Deputy King learned the following from Adult Female A. She stated she lived at this apartment in Kandiyohi and lives there alone. She says that her cousin’s name is on the lease but the cousin has not lived there for the last five months. She said she had been dating BLANCO for approximately two months and they had separated about a month ago. She said she had never given BLANCO a key to the apartment and he has never lived there with her.
She does not know how he got a key to the apartment. She said BLANCO has been showing up to her apartment and has been entering at random times uninvited and unannounced. She said on December 27, BLANCO was calling her friend and leaving her voicemails asking where Adult Female A was. They were going to make dinner (Adult Female A and her friend, Aguilar Monloy). BLANCO opened the door with the key that he had made without her permission and entered the apartment. Adult Female A told him to leave several times.
Instead BLANCO got into a verbal altercation with Adult Female A. Adult Female A and her friend, Aguilar Monloy, retreated into Adult Female A’s bedroom and held the door shut due to the lock not working. BLANCO forced his way into the bedroom. Adult Female A told him several times to leave. When BLANCO was bursting the door open, the mirror on the opposite wall in the hallway from the bedroom had fallen and cracked. Adult Female A then called a friend and told that person to call the police. There was another verbal altercation between Adult Female A and BLANCO. BLANCO then pushed Adult Female A in the upper chest area.
She said she was scared for her life due to the damage and BLANCO entering the apartment as well as his actions in the past month. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: Pursuant to Minn.
