On September 22, 2025, officers executed a narcotics search warrant at [ADDRESS REDACTED]east, Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. The target of the search warrant was Pedro Antonio Banyon, hereafter defendant. Inside the home in the main level living room, officers found multiple shoe boxes which contained approximately 72 grams of a substance that field tested positive for cocaine; approximately 24 grams of a substance that field tested positive for crack cocaine, and approximately 195 grams of substances that field tested positive for MDMA. Inside the house were multiple letters addressed to the defendant.
The substances were sent to the BCA for further testing. A couple of hours after the execution of the search warrant, officers maintained surveillance on the house and observed the defendant arrive at the home, inspect the front door that was breached by officers and enter the residence where he remained alone for one hour. Defendant was not arrested. On October 15, 2025, officers executed a narcotics search warrant at [ADDRESS REDACTED], in Crystal, Hennepin County, Minnesota. The target of the search warrant was the defendant.
Defendant answered the door when officers arrived and located a safe inside the house that contained approximately 1 gram of a substance that was suspected ketamine, a pill in the primary bedroom that field tested positive for MDMA, and approximately 1 gram of a substance that field tested positive for cocaine in the living room. All substances have been forwarded to the BCA for additional testing. No one else was inside the home. Post Miranda, defendant made statements about growing up poor and making decisions and how sometimes things go south.
The State is seeking a warrant for the defendant's arrest based on the quantity of contraband and severity of the charges.
