On December 26, 2025, at approximately 6:34 P.M., Deputy Mikla was dispatched to an assault on the 3300 block of Dunlap Street, Arden Hills, County of Ramsey. The suspect was Josh Walker (later fully identified as JOSHUA JOHN JAMES WALKER, [DOB REDACTED]). WALKER is TLW’s cousin. Deputies arrived and found TLW in the entryway of the residence. TLW was bleeding from the nose. His face was red and he complained of a broken tooth. One of TLW’s front teeth was chipped and there was bleeding. Medics arrived to evaluate TLW. TLW said he unplugged WALKER’s HDMI cord as a joke.
WALKER threw him onto the couch and then “ripped” him off of the couch. They wrestled on the floor. At one point, WALKER placed his knee into his chest and would not get off. TLW could not breathe. TLW tried to get WALKER to stop, telling him “That was enough.” When TLW was pinned on his back, WALKER slapped him across his face. TLW kicked and tried to get from under WALKER, and may have kicked the computer. WALKER struck him in the face, injuring his face and tooth. JW, witness, said TLW was eating Subway on the couch.
WALKER went and plugged in his PlayStation where TLW had been playing. TLW unplugged WALKER’s PlayStation. WALKER confronted TLW, and the two began to wrestle playfully. Eventually, it went too far. At one point, WALKER had TLW pinned to the floor. They tried to control WALKER. WALKER was on scene. He said TLW pulled the power cord. TLW punched him in the nose. TLW tried to kick the monitor. WALKER said he “smacked” TLW. TLW spoke with an investigator on December 27th. He said he was evaluated in the emergency room in Monticello, Minnesota.
He was advised he had a non-dislocated nasal fracture, swelling on the head, and a chipped tooth.
