On December 24, 2025, at approximately 5:40 PM, law enforcement was dispatched to an assault at Walmart, in the city of St. Cloud, county of Stearns, state of Minnesota. Law enforcement arrived and met with Victim A, an adult female fully identified in reports, who explained that DaeShawna Kay West, [DOB REDACTED], the defendant herein, had recently been on Facebook live saying she was going to beat up Victim A. Victim A explained that she saw the defendant that day at Walmart. Victim A explained that the defendant's boyfriend, Martez Romale Turner, Sr., [DOB REDACTED], the co-defendant herein, was also at Walmart.
Victim A reported that she made a comment to the defendant about the defendant wanting to fight her. Victim A explained that she started walking away and the defendant started coming towards her. Victim A reported that the co-defendant also started coming towards her and she began to run away. Victim A reported that the defendant started throwing items at her. Victim A reported that she was pulled to the ground and that the co-defendant and defendant began hitting and kicking her. Victim A reported that the defendant and co-defendant stomped on her face and head multiple times.
Victim A reported that the defendant and co-defendant punched her in the face multiple times. Victim A estimated she was struck ten to fifteen times. Victim A reported that she could not locate her iPhone after the assault. Law enforcement obtained cell phone video from a bystander at Walmart. In the video, Victim A can be seen on the ground and the defendant is standing over her. The co-defendant walks over and kicks Victim A's head multiple times. The defendant can also be seen punching Victim A multiple times in the head and face area.
Victim A's iPhone is on the floor and the co-defendant is seen reaching down and taking Victim A's phone. The co-defendant again kicks Victim A multiple times in the head area. The co-defendant then walks away and Victim A's phone is seen in his hand. Law enforcement observed that Victim A had swelling and bruising to her eye and blood on her face. Law enforcement observed and photographed that Victim A was missing her front tooth. Law enforcement observed a fresh hole that was bleeding where the tooth would have been.
The State does not believe the defendant would comply with a summons and her current whereabouts are unknown. Therefore, the State is requesting a warrant in this matter. Complainant has reason to believe and does believe that all of the above information is true and correct. The above facts constitute your complainant's basis for believing that the above-named defendant, on or about the 24th day of December 2025, in the City of St. Cloud, County of Stearns, State of Minnesota, committed the offenses described herein.
