On December 22, 2025, at approximately 10:20 AM, Officers with the Coon Rapids Police Department were dispatched to a theft in progress at Holiday Gas, located at [ADDRESS REDACTED] NW, City of Coon Rapids, Anoka County. Officer arrived and made contact with the Assistant Manager, M. J. P., who stated a male concealed merchandise in his backpack then went into the bathroom for several minutes. M. J. P requested the male be removed/trespassed from the location. Officer made contact with the male, identified as Shawn Patrick Inderlee [DOB REDACTED], defendant hereinafter, who stated he planned on paying for the merchandise and did pay for the items.
Record checks showed defendant had a confirmed trespassing warrant out of Anoka County (WNO: #256293). Defendant was placed under arrest. In a search incident to arrest, Officers located three separate baggies in defendant’s pockets which contained a white powdery substance. The substance field tested positive for methamphetamine and baggie #1 weighed 5.5 grams, baggie #2 weighed 1.5 grams and baggie #3 weighed 1.1 grams. Defendant has two prior convictions for 5th degree possession of controlled substance from March 2025 in Anoka County (••-CR-••-••••) an from January 2021 in Anoka County (••-CR-••-••••).
